The Alcott Cultivators are Alcott’s community of monthly donors, dedicated advocates for mental health, housing, and their Los Angeles community. The support they provide month after month cultivates the seeds of growth in our community.
As an Alcott Cultivator, you're directly funding the programs that provide the consistent care that allows the people we serve to grow toward long-term well-being.
Cultivation recognizes the importance of care over time. When you set your donations to “monthly,” your consistency is translated to sustained care for the community members we serve.

Your monthly gift directly supports more than 2,890 individuals in LA County for whom we are providing:
Outpatient mental health services like psychosocial assessments, individual & group therapy, psychiatry, and case management.
Comprehensive wraparound services for those navigating severe mental health challenges.
Intensive Case Management Services which include housing navigation, wraparound support, & linkages to services and community benefits
Interim housing support, from 24/7 onsite trauma-informed support to reentry services and life-skills classes.

A note on tax changes in 2026:
Starting this year, the tax deduction rules we’ve all become accustomed to will be shifting creating new opportunities for your generosity to come right back to you. Essentially, come tax season your support of accessible mental health and housing in Los Angeles will reward you.
If you don’t itemize your taxes, you can deduct up to $1,000 for charitable gifts ($2,000 for joint filing) on top of the standard deduction.
Just $25 a month would get you a deduction of $300 AND provide 5 individuals with a Welcome Home Basket as they enter permanent housing.
