Amadeus

Amadeus is both a trained musician and a visual artist. In his college years Amadeus studied ceramics under the guidance Alfred Van Loen. Completed in the late 80s to early 90's, this work utilizes simple board with a process he describes as "spontaneous abstract" technique, displaying a compelling retro-futuristic quality. The process involves carefully cutting the upper layer of the board's surface, thus exposing the underlying texture. It is a painstaking, yet straightforward process, utilizing an Xacto knife.
